From the Joy Reef DIY project and dosing pump comes a portal to better manage your reef tank, data, history, notifications and automations.
If you have been following Joy Reef for a while, you probably already know the project: guides, tests, DIY electronics, the dosing pump and practical tools built for people who truly live the marine aquarium hobby.
Over the years, Joy Reef has grown around a simple idea: helping reef keepers manage their tanks better, with practical and understandable tools, without making everything unnecessarily complicated.
Now this work is taking a step forward.
I am opening the beta of the new Joy Reef portal: a space designed to help you follow your marine aquarium more closely, collect data, view history, configure notifications, use automations and connect compatible DIY devices.
The beta is free and does not require a credit card.

At this stage, I am not simply looking for signups. I am looking for reef keepers who want to actually try it, possibly on their own tank, and tell me what works, what is missing, what is unclear and what would really improve theirdaily reef management.
Joy Reef is not a magic promise and it does not replace the experience of the aquarist. The goal is to give you more control, more history and more awareness of what is happening in your tank.
To support the beta, I have also opened Reef Champions, a community leaderboard for people who participate, complete useful actions, make their tank public or invite other reef keepers.
The top 10 users in the leaderboard will receive rewards on future plans:
– 1st place: Platinum for life
– 2nd-5th place: Platinum for 12 months
– 6th-10th place: Gold for 12 months
If you knew Joy Reef from the DIY dosing pump, this is the natural evolution of the project: not just a single device, but a portal to connect tank, data, automations and community.
You can join the beta here:

Feedback, criticism and suggestions are welcome. At this stage, they matter more than any metric.
